Dans le sac
Reusable Baguette Bag
Designed to bring fresh baguettes home from the bakery or the market and to store them for 2 days*. It even has a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder or on your back!
The reusable bag is able to fit 2 baguettes.
Use: It is recommended not to slice bread before putting it in the bag. Once the bread has been sliced, the air contact surface increases, so it dries out more quickly.
Homemade or bakery-made bread will last for 3 to 4* days. Baguette-style bread will last for around 2* days.
It is recommended to seal the bag as tightly as possible.
You can also freeze the bread directly in the bag, but make sure to close the tighly as possible!
*The shelf life of your bread will depend on the environment (temperature, humidity, etc.) in which the bag is stored.
*The crust servers as a natural barrier, so if you use a bread machine and the crust is thin, your bread may dry faster.
These bags are machine-washable in cold water. We recommend not putting them in the dryer so as to avoid cotton shrinkage. We also recommend not to wash them too often.
Maintenance: With a useful life of several years, "Dans Le Sac" bags are designed to offset the environmental impact of thousands of plastic and paper bags.
A shrinkage of 10% on the height of the bag is to be expected after the first wash. The bag was designed larger in anticipation of this shrinkage.
How to close the bag:
To close the bag, simply roll the top so that it is as tight as possible. Then pass the ribbon around and tie it.
To make a basket, turn the top of the bag out 2 to 3 times.
